Press Release Body = 1001players.com is releasing today Generals: Alien Colony, the
mobile game from development studio Impressionware which received the bronze prize
in the 2007 Samsung Game Development Contest.

Generals: Alien Colony is a very complex and addictive turn-based strategy game. The
player takes control of either the human or an alien race. The game features many
missions that need to be fought to reach supremacy. Missions are very elaborate and
never consist of simply eliminating the enemy. The game has a very advanced
artificial intelligence and is very easy to pick up but very hard to put down.

The story is set in the year 2276 A.D. After more than a century of scientific
research mankind has managed to colonize space and an interplanetary alliance was
born. Humans are on planet Cyren, in the seventh galaxy of Grevion VI. Here a human
colony has been living in peace for more than 50 years. But peace was not to last
for long. One night the sky has been filled with lights and hundreds of Zarudas
spacecraft landed on Cyren. They are a brutal alien race and have been looking for a
new home as their own planet is destined to collide with a star. A battle for the
control of Cyren has started.

The game arrived third at the Samsung Game Development Contest in May 2007. The
contest held each year rewards the best Java games designed for the latest handset
of the manufacturer, here the Samsung SGH-D900 mobile phone. Generals: Alien Colony
is now available at 1001players.com and for a variety of mobile handsets including
Motorola, Nokia, Sagem and Sony Ericsson.
